Every Stitch a Prayer is a sewing ministry that meets at Taylor Road Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL. It was established in 2008 for the purpose of providing children's clothing to send with our Mission Teams to foreign countries. We have expanded as the Lord has blessed our ministry to helping local missions with various items such as curtains, blankets, scarves, walker bags, Comfort Pillows for Women of Hope, ponchos, Christmas stockings, and school uniforms. We enjoy serving the Lord and meeting the needs of people and the fellowship is sweet.
ESAP meets every Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. on the second floor of Taylor Road Baptist Church just down the road from Eastchase shopping center on Taylor Road. Additional sessions are on the first Thursday of every month from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. At this session, we share a potluck salad buffet.
We also schedule extra sewing days as the need arises. Please join us! We need people to do a variety of tasks other than sewing, such as ironing, cutting, trimming, organizing, inventory, etc. Whatever talent God has given you is one that we need!!
